Banana Bread (Banana Nut Bread)
INGREDIENTS [Nantucket Cookbook - India House]
-----------
- 3-4 ripe or over ripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar (+ 1/4 cup for top)
- 1 egg - beaten well
- 1.5 cups flower
- 1/4 cup butter - melted
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt (1/2 tsp)
- (a few nuts to decorate)

DIRECTIONS
----------
- set oven @ 325

- mash bananas w/fork
- stir in other ingredients
- pour into foil lined loaf pan
- top with 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- top with a few whole nuts
- bake for 1 hour
